Élise was founded in Grasse in 2014 by Camille Bertrand — a chemist and fourth-generation daughter of perfumers. We compose skincare the way our grandmothers composed dinner: slowly, with intention, and with the best ingredients within reach.

How We Work

Each formula is studied for an average of three years, tested by a small panel, and revised until it earns its place. We refuse to launch anything we would not use ourselves — for years.

We name every ingredient in the bottle. Where it comes from, who grew it, why we chose it. We hide nothing — and we work only with growers we have known by name for over a decade.

Kept, not consumed

Our vessels are designed to be refilled, returned, kept on the shelf for years. No animal testing, ever. Carbon-neutral since 2023. One tree replanted for every empty returned to the atelier.

The maison opens its doors Tuesday through Saturday. Visits are quiet, by appointment — twenty minutes with a soignant, a tour of the distillery, and a small cup of rose tea before you go.
